The Premise

My 2Cents

For some reason I've become a HUGE fan of the Cop Comedy-Dramas over the past few years and to be honest a lot of them seemingly meld together and I feel they are too similar. Then this past Spring The Good Guys hit the airwaves and it shattered everything I

knew about cop comedies. I mean seriously where else do you see a Cop like Dan St

ark (Bradley Whitford) and Jack Bailey (Colin Hanks)? SERIOUSLY WHERE!? I would love to meet a character like Dan Stark, well a Cop like him. He is the quintessential 80's East Coast Cop. Hell he has the mustache to prove it...

I believe he loves his mustache and his Trans Am as much as he does catching the "Bad Guys". If you have NEVER seen this show you are missing out and I am being serious her

e. Dan Stark is so off the mark for a police officer. Hell he and Bailey work SMALL CRIMES and really have nothing to do with Homicide or Stings or ANYTHING they deal with, because of Stark. He lives for going by his gut feeling and living in his glory days and after the Season Premiere I found out he even has a shrine.. Yes a shrine ... TO HIMSELF! I know! Now a shrine to another fallen officer or a former partner would've been okay but one to himself is HILARIOUS!

Now Bailey is, or well tries, to be a by the book cop. Wanting nothing more than to do their small crimes job and go home. But with a partner like Dan Stark, that never happens. He is just along for the ride, IN A TRANS AM!

I told you, didn't I!? Stark is old school and an old school cop drives an old school care like that above. Anyways I am sure you are wondering why it is in a warehouse with other "vintage" cars. Well thats a whole different blog all together. Lets just say Stark got it stolen to bust an enterprise built on stolen vintage AMERICAN cars. It was an hilarious episode without a doubt!

Well you know what you should just watch it because if you like Cop shows like I do and love to laugh your ass off then this show is for you. Plain and Simple, Hands Down one of the better Cop Comedies on the airwaves today. Check it out and tell me what you think.

Season Two Premiere Rating: 5/5 (Worth the Watch)

Oh and one more thing .... If your wife allows you to have an epic mustache like Dan Stark I ENVY you! Seriously I do because its EPIC!
